Detailed Display of the Cornea

The Keratograph software includes a reliable screening package for corneal disease detection, lens fitting and refractive surgery. The complex surface structure is measured by means of mathematical analysis, which serves as the basic accurate detection of irregularities like keratoconus. In addition, the optical properties of the front surface of the cornea are exactly characterized.
Measurements with Placido Ring Illumination & LED Measurements

White ring illumination is sued to measure thousands of points on the entire corneal surface. Infrared ring illumination is also available for analyzing the tear film in order to prevent reflex tear secretion caused by glare.

The Keratograph® 5M proudly offers the perfect illumination for each function: White diodes for tear film dynamics, blue diodes for fluorescein images and infrared diodes for meibography.
Meibo-Scan

Dry Eye is most commonly caused by the Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD). The Meibo-Scan shows the morphological changes in the glandular tissue. There are different viewing options, various section planes and the marking of the individual area of examination to easily evaluate the meibomian glands and the morphological changes in the upper and lower eyelids.
OxiMap®

The OxiMap® displays the oxygen transmissibility of soft lenses in different colours depending on the optical power and is easy to understand - even for your patients. The OxyMap® is projected onto your patient's eye and you can immediately see if the selected lens is suitable for wearing overnight.
R-Scan

The R-Scan is the first and only technology that automatically and objectively measures and classifies the bulbar and the limbal degree of redness. The R-Scan detects thin blood vessels in the conjunctiva and evaluates the degree of redness. With automatic evaluation, there is no need to manually compare the classification sheets and you can be more confident in the user-independent results.
TF-Scan

With the TF-Scan software, you can analyze and document the tear film break-up time and share the results with your patients. The TF-scan maps the tear film break up time and is a great tool for follow-ups and patient consultation.
Topography

Aside from topography and automatic keratoconus detection, the Keratograph® 5M provides a large contact lens data base and many analyses for daily practice. The built-in keratometer and automatic measurement ensure the utmost accuracy and reproducibility. After completing the measurement, the overview display provides a detailed outline.

Fourier Analysis

The Fourier analysis is an important tool for visualizing the amount of corneal irregularities.
Mutifocal, Bifocal, Toric

With the Keratograph® 5M you can quickly and precisely measure all of the data needed for multifocal, bifocal, and toric contact lenses. These measurements also facilitate the fitting of multifocal or bifocal lenses. Furthermore, the Keratograph® 5M software can be linked to fitting programs of various contact lens manufacturers
Topographic Keratoconus Screening

Keratoconus classification is based on numerous parameters. The Topographic Keratoconus Screening display merges these parameters. The colored label illustrates abnormal values. Temporal changes of the parameters are shown side by side in a table, to facilitate your follow-ups. The Amsler classification system is applied to the keratoconus domains.
Zernike Analysis

Zernike Analysis provides a means to distinctly describe irregularities of the cornea. It enables the determination of the exact position of the apex.
